In the September issue of Youthwork Magazine we feature a feedback form to give to students. This helps us become more aware of whether we are getting it right...whether that's about content, delivery or presentation of the sessions we run in schools. This one has been designed for use in assemblies, lessons, lunchtime groups or any other activity we may find ourselves doing in schools.

The form is available here to download. For further ideas to use at the start of the new term in September check out the September Youthwork Magazine, available mid-August.

June's Youthwork Magazine featured some ideas for a lesson on 'loving your neighbour', encouraging ideas about how to respect others from other backgrounds and faiths. There was a link at the end to this website: www.natre.org.uk/spiritedarts, which is running a competition again this summer on several different themes. One of those is 'Respect: a logo for RE'. An example of the artwork from the 2004 competition is below.

Here is the winning entry to a previous competition on 'Design an RE logo' by 12 year old Robin.

In May's Youthwork Magazine, the featured assembly is called 'What are you running from?'. The assembly raises questions for students to reflect on, the main two being "what are you running from?", and ending with "what would happen if you were to turn around?". Here is the video and a list of questions to accompany the assembly.
