This US video from Creature Comforts is a brilliant take on self image that would be a great element in a lesson or assembly. The comments are from a wide range of Americans and, although most are adults, it's got lots of interesting quotes that would fit into something for teenagers (and maybe even primary too?).

'Children Talking' is a web-based database of pupils' responses to key questions raised in RE, with a search facility and the option for pupils to add their own responses to the original questions. What that means is that you can get a list of quotes about a whole range of subjects from young people in the UK. And you can specify the age, gender and religion of the children or young people you want to hear from. Their comments could be really useful as part of an assembly or lesson.

WATCH, THINK, ACT and GET INVOLVED are the four features of this excellent site. It's an interactive debating website for young people. It's a place to upload videos of different everyday issues, have your voice heard and get other's opinions. What really grabbed me was the teachers bit, where there are resources you can use in the classroom.

We've developed a series of four lessons, two on emotions and two on spirituality that will help young people to explore spirituality and emotions. Lessons are for Year 7 pupils and we also have a curriculum for Year 8 and plan eventually to extend through all key stages. They are delivered through the English curriculum.

Looking for new resources to use in primary schools this Easter? Here's a brilliant new teaching resource produced by CMS and the disocese of London. Not only does it lay out some good practical ideas to communicate the Easter story, but also gives some great tips about going into a school, especially if this is something you're not used to doing.
