A downloadable set of pictures to use in an assembly for Remembrance Day. The pictures can be used as a good introduction to an assembly that helps students think about what makes us remember other people in our lives. To reflect the diversity of that, there is a wide range of different images, from the ones you would might expect to see on Remembrance Day, through to others that will help students connect with who they remember in their lives today. Challenge students in your assembly with the question 'What do you want to be remembered for?'. Encourage them to reflect on what they can start doing today to become that person.
A good song to use in accompaniment of these images or for remembrance use in general is 'Lest I Forget' by Rebecca St James.
