SWAP is the annual 3-day conference where youth and schools workers gather to collaborate on new and insightful ideas. The conference is scheduled to take place at Life Church in Burnley on 18-20 Feb, 2014.

SWAP is designed to inspire great ideas and create space for delegates to collaborate with each other. Numerous workshops throughout the day will stretch the thinking of all who attend and help them approach their ideas from a different perspective in order to create a plan of action.

Each day is themed around one of the Pais Project's distinctive approach to mission, discipleship and study. The mornings begin with a keynote presentation followed by three sessions that include a twenty minute presentation of a new idea and forty minutes of creative collaboration workshops.

The presentations are visual, thought-provoking and story-based. The collaboration times are creative, participatory and have an emphasis on a community of like-minded people pulling apart the idea and reformatting it to fit their different situations.

“The advantage of SWAP is in its formatting. First we hear an innovative idea, then each session gives us the opportunity to discuss how the ideas apply in a real ministry context.” - Dan, Youth Pastor

The Pais Project is a non-profit organisation that exists to spark a global movement where the saints' primary concern is the Kingdom of God and where they are being equipped to advance it in their world. Founded 20 years ago in Manchester, the Pais Project has since trained and sent hundreds of teams of young people into communities around the world to serve as a relational bridge between the local schools and the local church.
