Helping young people think about how they respond to HIV / AIDS will be really important as World AIDS day approaches (1 December 2007). You can download (for free) meeting outlines for either an 11-14 or a 14+ group. You can then select whether or not your group is from a limited or a mainly church background.

There is a range of activities to choose from that will enable the young people to find out what they do and do not know about HIV / AIDS and then have a look at how Jesus responded to various people who were in difficult situations. As with all these outlines the young people are given the opportunity to respond in a variety of ways.

For those Christian young people who want to take theings further, the Going Deeper section suggests some practical activities they could get involved with. These include a number of ideas from the Tearfund youth team.

Go to http://www.scriptureunion.org.uk/re-source and click on Current Outlines.

Whilst, there, why not take a look at the Outline Archive for materials for your group for the rest of term?
