LCM Schools Worker Missionary Role

For 180 years the London City Mission has shared the love of God with London's least reached.

LCM currently have a vacancy for a City Missionary: Schools Worker role in Merton to join the team.

As a Missionary you will share a passion for an unwavering commitment to urban ministry, reaching out to the least-reached communities across London - those living in poverty, on the margins or from different ethnic groups. City Missionaries come from varied backgrounds but all share an extraordinary dedication to urban evangelism and a passion for loving London through gospel outreach ministry.

To be successful in this role, you will be passionately committed to serving Jesus Christ by going to those who are beyond the reach of most churches, especially where there are social, personal or economic needs, devoting your time to patient and personal evangelism. Your previous experience will include: schools' work, the ability to undertake all aspects of planning and running lunch and after school clubs, ability to teach in RE lessons and take assemblies.

LCM strategically place City Missionaries in the least reached communities and therefore it is important that they are flexible and willing to serve the Kingdom of God wherever there is a need. The initial placement may be changed in order to meet the most spiritually needy areas.
