Four new job vacancies at Youthscape

Youthscape is a youth work organisation passionate about seeing transformation in the lives of all young people. We develop innovative, proven ways to address the key contemporary issues that they face. Our team are based in Luton, Bedfordshire, where we pioneer work with young people in schools, churches and the local community. Here are summary descriptions of the four available roles. Mental Health Lead, Salary: £35,000 pro rata. We're looking for someone with significant experience in the field of mental health who will be able to demonstrate this through relevant higher level qualifications, experience of five years or more in this field, and level of responsibility in previous roles. They will be confident in working with young people. They will also be someone who keeps abreast of developments and latest trends in their field and who is able to conceive new responses and strategies in response to mental health issues that young people are facing. Their skills will also include written and public communication, managing and developing others and working collaboratively.

Alumina Programme Manager, Salary: £24,000 pro rata. This role is part of the selfharmUK project.  You will be working with young people who self harm, running an online based 6 week self harm recovery programme (Alumina).  You will also be responsible for setting up and running those online Alumina groups with school groups in the Midlands and East Anglia.  Although the role is based in Luton, some travel to these locations will be required to initiate and evaluate the groups.

SelfharmUK Administrator and Database Manager, Salary: £22,000 pro rata. This role provides essential administrative support to the selfharmUK team, managing the database, preparing training materials, collating feedback for analysis, managing distribution of resources sold in the store, communicating with the network and maintaining clear organisational systems for the work. We're looking for a highly organised person with great communication skills and an eye for detail.

selfharmUK Project Manager, Salary: £28,000 pro rata. This role manages the selfharmUK project.  You will be managing a project whose team members work with young people who self harm, through an online self harm recovery programme and who run training programmes for youth workers and other professionals in the area of self harm.


The deadline for each of these roles is Friday, 1st April, with interviews to be held on 18th and 19th April.
