Being a Christian in school

A lot of the young people in my youth group have requested this topic to be added into the programme.
I know from my own experience that living out my faith at school was not as easy as it sounded. The idea behind the series we're doing is that as we are transformed inwardly by spending time with God, we impact the people surrounding us with the Kingdom of God.
The question is, how does this work its way into the harsh reality of school?
It's all very well to suggest that a young person gets involved with or even starts a CU, but that is never easy for a 15 year old who just wants to play footy in the playground.

Does anybody have any experience of dealing with this subject? What level of success did you have? Did it make a difference for anyone?
