It’s organised by the UK coalition of a worldwide movement, the Global Campaign for Education (GCE).  The GCE is a coalition of child rights activists, teachers’ unions and development organisations from around the world, united in their determination to make the right to education a reality. On the site are lesson plans, case studies, films, photos and suggestions for how to get children involved in making a difference. The campaign was prompted by an amazing promise by world leaders in 2000 that every child would get a free primary education by 2015. Since 2005, Send My Friend have led initiatives to keep up the pressure to Prime Ministers and leaders in Europe. Find out more and details about resources here.
