This is a great resource for giving young people an opportunity to express something that perhaps they don’t have the words for, especially as it demands representing things in such an abstract form. Through the process of producing this type of work they often start to be able to articulate their feelings, and feel a lot better about it. It’s Fab, I’ve used this or equivalents of it with young people who self harm, have been abused or a selectively mute and seen great results.
