About Me:
I've been working in Luton schools as part of the chaplaincy team for just over two years and I guess it's been an interesting journey for me over these past few years after leaving university. I had a year of teaching music in a secondary school in Kent, and realised the school environment was exactly where I wanted to be, but the role had to change. I wanted to be able to give the students time I just didn't have, and so I moved to beautiful Devon to investigate the area of Christian schools work, and was based in one high school in a rural area near Exeter. I loved the idea of still being based in schools, and yet having the freedom to give students my time, develop assembly ideas, figure out how I could be involved in the curriculum, and so much more that we all know schools work can be. I started questioning what Christian schools work really is and why we do it, and my search led me to move to Luton to work with Chris and the team, and here we are with schoolswork.co.uk, something I'm so excited about and I'm more convinced than ever that God wants to use us in the work He is already doing in young people in schools across the UK.
