Czech Bible Project

I have a friend who is a great inspiration to me as he has a lot of patience and a great deal of determination.

He’s spent the last 15 years transalting the Bible into Czech. He’s taught me a bit about Czech history and it is really intriguing to find out how the Christian story and the importance of having a new Bible translation is linked.

There’s an 8 minute video on YouTube that I found really interesting.  A great resource for a discussion starter - it made me realise how much i take for granted having so many Bible translations in English and having the freedom to talk about God and faith. I cannot imagine what it must’ve been like in the communist era
